Random PvE and the Loot System

Random PvP maps have been available for quite some time now, however the extra intricacies associated with creating player versus environment maps crosses over to the randomised variety too. With that said we are extremely happy to finally be able to announce Randomised Player Vs Environment maps are finally here!

Not only that but some long awaited changes to the loot system have finally been implemented. No longer will you need to grind on the same maps over and over again. In answer to your pleas to make changes to the loot system, BattleForge now offers new and more efficient ways to upgrade your cards.

Traditionally you obtained random upgrades in PvE matches. Getting a specific upgrade could require you to play 1 map over and over again. This is no longer the case, with the new randomly generated PvE maps you can now use the token system to claim specific card upgrades (There is no longer a PvP rank required for this, your PvE rank will be adequate).

The new randomly generated PvE maps drop tokens and gold depending on their difficulty level. Not only does this mean that you can target the upgrades you want and get them fast, it also means that you get more variety as the random generation constantly produces new experiences and challenges.

Random PvE maps are available in 3 different varieties, 1 player, 2 player, and 4 player. The Maps have been designed to provide an enjoyable gaming experience for absolutely everyone. From the newest BattleForge player who has only been playing for an hour, to the veteran player that has been playing since launch, and believe it or not, it will even prove to be quite the challenge for the best players in the world! The way we handle this is quite simple. There are 10 difficulty levels, each one becoming progressively harder,  level 1 being the easiest, going all the way up to the mind meltingly difficult level 10. Anyone that can come out of a level 10 map alive, we tip our hat’s to you, it is quite the achievement.

As some of you will no doubt be aware random PvE maps have been available for a few a while and have been quite the success amongst those that have played them, but now they drop loot! For those of you that still haven’t played Random PvE maps yet, we highly encourage you to do so, after a few rounds you should be able to find a difficulty level that provides a challenge for you.
