I think it is fair to say that the artwork in BattleForge is not only unique, but pretty impressive! Both the 2D portraits and their 3D counterparts really bring the world of Nyn to life, each and every unit has its own charm and charisma the likes of which cannot be found in any other game.

Clearly some of our community members have noticed this and been inspired to create their own takes on the units and artwork found in our game. Over the last number of days we have been extremely happy to see more and more BattleForge fan art being put up on our forum and Facebook wall. We've been so impressed with the work that we are seeing coming in that we have bundled some of it together into a BattleForge wallpaper pack which is available to download right now!

Because we have been so thoroughly impressed by the artistic work going on in our community we have created a new “Media” forum to give the artists some space to spread their wings and strut their stuff. Whether you are a budding artist and have been so for decades, or have recently been inspired to pick up a pen (mouse, guitar, whatever) this is the forum for you.

We aren't the only people that enjoy seeing all of the amazing fan art though. Some of your fellow BattleForge players have been so impressed by what they have seen that they are running their own fan art competition. There are a few different categories so you should have a look to see if there is one to suit you. 

To all that have already created some media, keep up the good work! To those that are considering creating something, give it a shot you never know what you'll end up with!
