Once again, it's time to round up the main going ons in BattleForge for the past few weeks – and what a few weeks it's been! The main talking point has of course been the Renegade Edition Beta. Interest in it was much higher than expected, which is always great to see! In fact, the interest was so great we had people queuing up to get a taste of the Beta.

So far, the Beta has been a roaring success with players pouring feedback into the Beta forums, which we would once again like to thank you for and we encourage you to keep it coming! Your feedback really makes a difference, which can clearly be seen in the numerous and frequent Beta Updates and Full Release Patch Notes.

We have been receiving so much Beta Feedback and calls for more Beta time that we have decided to extend the Beta phase by a week to let you guys get more feedback into us, so that when the Renegade Edition is released on September the 1st, it will be a fully polished product.

On another note, the Watch List has once again received an update. This time, Parasite Swarm has been removed. We would like to thank everyone for all of their input into the watch list thread, it was immensely helpful. The general consensus seemed to be to fix the bug and then the card would be balanced, so that’s exactly what we did!

Those of you that couldn’t wait to find out how the Renegade Edition promotional card is going to be distributed finally got your answer We have also posted another Developer Q&A, which gives some insight into the new “Affinities” game play mechanic. Speaking of the Developer Q&A, we have decided to run a second round of it, so now is your chance to get all of those nagging questions answered straight from the horse’s mouth – check out the Blue Posts to learn more about it!
